Medjet arranges transport for its members who are hospitalized more than 150 miles from their primary residence, either in the U.S. or abroad, to the hospital of their choice in their home country to continue their in-patient care. The services are complete bedside to bedside and inclusive of all medical care including ground transportation.

 OSHA ONLINE TRAINING is available through FCMA at a discount to physicians and their staff members. Federal OSHA regulation Title 29, Part 1910.1030 requires that all employees who have potential for exposure to blood and bloodborne pathogens (BBP), whether directly or indirectly, must receive training in accordance with the federal mandate before they begin such work and, must be retrained annually. Certificates will be issued upon completion of the course.

 CME ONLINE TRAINING is available at special pricing to FCMA members. Connecticut General Statutes requires that in addition to the 50 contact hours of continuing medical education every two years, every six years physicians must have at least one contact hour of training in risk management, sexual assault, domestic violence, infectious diseases (including AIDS and HIV), cultural competency, and behavioral health. These six mandated courses can be taken online through FCMA. Certificates will be issued upon completion of the courses.

 JOB MATCH CENTER & OFFICE SPACE MATCHING SERVICES are offered through FCMA’s website. Job Match Center, a web-based job match service that connects job seekers with prospective medical office employers, is available to members with a discount of up to 65 percent off job postings and resume purchases. Additionally, FCMA has an office space matching service, for those physicians who have extra office space they would like to sublet to another physician. The office space matching is free to FCMA members, nonmembers are charged $299 for the office match service.
